Leopard 1 Company online!

In preparation for an upcoming Team Yankee tournament, I've been finishing up some Leopard 1 tanks.  I the basic painting of these when I was overseas and have finished them at home.

This is the first batch of 7.  I have 3 more in the pipeline.  Now that I can do field platoons of 4, I may build a few more...

Company Commander.  These are the PCS kits so all hatches can be open.  I used the BF crew.

1st Platoon.  These have the same soft-edge winter camo on top of 3-color NATO as the company commander.  Most of my West German forces are painted in this same style.

Maybe I finally cracked the code on how to do snow on 15mm tanks?

2nd platoon.  I did a subtle variation on the camo pattern to make distinguishing units easier.  These have a hard-edge white camo on top of 3-color NATO.

Like my other vehicles, I painted the 3-color NATO scheme by hand.  I used masking putty with an airbrush to achieve the hard-edge camo look on the white paint for this platoon.
